Psalm 126:6
Those who trust in The Lord despite all hardships, will find their reward in the future kingdom - the New Jerusalem - confident in the fact that He preserved Jerusalem in the past.
For everyone who asks receives,
and the one who seeks finds,
and to the one who knocks it will be opened.
There cannot be many who sinned more grievously against our Lord Jesus, than did Paul, before salvation.
Acts 17:30-31
The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent, because he has fixed a day on which he will judge the world in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed; and of this he has given assurance to all by raising him from the dead.
Christ's ressurection from the dead assures us of the truth of God's promise of righteous judgment for those who repent and believe. Our previous pagan ignorance, once overlooked by God, will no longer protect us.
